First off, landing an ES with no flaps isn't a huge issue, you will just come in a little faster speed and the nose will be a lot higher than normal. Taking

You could always run the 12V motor on 24 Volts, but it will run twice as fast - I doubt that the higher speed would be acceptable from an operational point of

Guys, There are some areas on the plane where you can shortcut, compromise or try to save some money, but the flaps are a pretty important part of the plane

Joaquin, I may do the same and use a voltage converter. I was hoping to find a 24 volt version I figure it is one less point of failure. But at the $600.00
